Exhibition Times: Fri – 12 to 4pm / Sat – 12 to 4pm / Sun 12 to 2pm
These paintings depict his fond memories of hunting in Colorado and South Texas.
He grew up in North Central Texas and from an early age, he displayed a love for fishing and hunting.
While in high school, he developed his trade as a machinist and started his career in this field when he was called to serve his country. He joined the Navy and served three tours in the Vietnam War on the USS Vancouver.
He and his wife Mary had three children and spent many memorable moments hunting and enjoying the wildlife and the outdoors. He took his wife and children to Colorado to hunt deer, turkey, elk, and bear. The kids loved to hunt with him especially his son James and daughter Tamara Segler-Colston. Now that he is retired, he enjoys reflecting on those precious moments in nature and captures them on canvas
